From Trauma to Truth

Have you ever wondered ‘what is wrong with me?’ Do your thoughts run at what feels like an uncontrollable speed, entertaining every possible scenario for every possible situation? Can you easily predict outcome and the consequences of almost any action? When you walk into a room do you absorb the emotions and falseness of the people present, adding to your own, ever-present anxiety. Bad at small talk, pleasantries or just the average social dynamic of others because you find it all unnecessary and false? If you have these traits and they have caused you to suffer, isolate, and fall victim to those who would take advantage of your over sensitive and empathetic personality, you are not alone. This blog is for you.

I think that by sharing honestly about my own experience as an empath and isolated introvert who, by accepting who I am and turning what I thought were flaws into strengths, and not dwelling on the weakness of how many times I have fallen apart, but focusing on the strength of my endurance, and ability to reassemble, readers with similar emotional acuity can find something to make them feel less alone.
